Hen Harrier fieldworkers wanted
The SHINE research project at UCC is investigating the impact of forest management practices on Hen Harriers in Ireland (https://www.ucc.ie/en/forestecology/research/shine).
As part of this two-year research project, funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine, they now wish to recruit a number of full and part time seasonal fieldworkers to help us with data collection during the 2018 breeding season.
Both full time and part-time positions are available. The main requirements of the job will be to monitor Hen Harriers, conduct bird surveys and small mammal trapping to provide information for a research study.
The candidate must have a full, clean driving licence. For further details on the vacancy, see https://www.ucc.ie/en/forestecology/research/shine. To apply, please send a CV and accompanying letter of application to Sandra Irwin at [email protected]. Information enquiries can also be made to that email address or to 021 4904595. The deadline for application is Friday, 6th April 2018.
