Minister Seán Canney Highlights Availability of 2026 Benefits and Taxes Wallchart
Seán Canney TD, Minister of State for International and Road Transport, Logistics, Rail and Ports and Leader in Cabinet of the Independent Ministers, is advising people that the Citizens Information Board’s Benefits and Taxes wallchart for 2026 is now available.
The chart is a large format, quick reference document that summaries the rates of payment in 2026. It includes social welfare payments for jobseekers, carers and older people, along with rates for child and family payments such as Child Benefit, Working Family Payment and the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance. It also given income limits for the medical card and GP visit card and information on tax bands, tax reliefs and tax credits including the Rent Tax Credit.
