Children’s charity Barnardos is carrying out great work and supports during the COVID-19 crisis.
Barnardos has adapted its core work with children and families as a response to the current situation.
Remote family support work, social distancing visits with at-risk children and practical support with cooking, grocery shopping and food deliveries are just some of the ways that the charity has ensured the children it works with are safe and their families are supported.
Barnardos is also keen to offer help to parents throughout Ireland who may not have used its services before but might need extra support during this challenging time.
Details of supports, including helplines are available in the graphics below.
The charity is also conducting a survey with parents about their experiences during the crisis and how the pandemic has impacted them, their children and their family lives.
The survey is available at https://t.co/LDAZwlYKMm and is open until May 18.
