Galway East TD and Minister for Rural Affairs Seán Canney is calling on creative groups and individuals to submit expressions of interest for bursary funding from Galway County Council.
The Creative Ireland Programme 2017-2020 is a Government-led, culture-based initiative designed to promote individual, community and national well-being.
Minister Canney said: “The scheme, which is being administered by the Local Authorities, began in 2017 and will run until 2022.
“I would urge anyone interested in making an application this year to do so without delay because the deadline for submitting expressions of interest is looming.
“The bursaries are aimed at supporting activities and projects that encourage creativity, collaboration and cultural participation in County Galway.
“Expressions of interest should be submitted by 4pm on Thursday March 26.”
