This is an information letter developed together by Solas FRC in Headford and Cllr Andrew Reddington. The aim of this letter is to give the community the vital numbers
that they may need in any case where they can’t leave the house and to reassure them that our community is there to help.
Not every elderly person avails of the Meals on Wheels service and we would appreciate it if you might make contact with an elderly neighbour and drop it into their letterbox.
If you develop symptoms you will need to self-isolate and phone your GP. The people in your household need to restrict their movements. It’s best not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. The GP will assess you over the phone. If they think you need to be tested for coronavirus, they will arrange a test.
