This week, as Minister for Natural Resources, I joined Geological Survey Ireland staff by Zoom for the launch of Geoscience Ireland’s report on the formation and maintenance of a successful business cluster.
Geoscience Ireland was established in 2012 to get geoscience companies to collaborate together to establish new markets overseas in order to ensure their survival, growth and expansion, thereby creating new jobs.
The lessons learned by Geoscience Ireland’s experience have great relevance for sectors looking to maximise their opportunities as the economy recovers post COVID-19.
