I am pleased to report there has been good progress on the footpath linking Athenry town to the new Clarin College. Construction of the college is also progressing well.
When Clarin College is completed, the way will then be open to move ahead with a Gaelscoil campus for both a new national and secondary school on Clarin College’s current site.
As a former third level lecturer, it is great to see the progress that has been made over the last three years in the provision of modern education facilities in Athenry, including the opening of the new €20 million Presentation College earlier this year.
