I welcome the turning on of the pedestrian crossing lights on the Dunmore Road.
“It is great to see the lights in operation. There is a new crossing in place in Dunmore road to facilitate workers in the IDA Park and walkers using the footpath on the Dunmore Road”.
“The second pedestrian crossing is located on the Galway Road to facilitate residents from the housing estates to cross the road safely for shopping and to access the town centre. I expect the lights on this crossing to be operational next week”.
“I acknowledge the assistance of Galway County Council Engineers John Coyle and Paul Connolly in helping me in securing the necessary funding for these two valuable safety measures in the town”.
