I am encouraging local businesses to take full advantage of supports available to them ahead of reopening as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
We are all aware of the challenges facing business as a result of the disruption caused by the coronavirus.
Businesses should be using every available support to them to kick start their operations. This is vital for both themselves and for the economic recovery of our country.
The supports include:
A Business Continuity Voucher worth up to €2,500. It can be used by companies and sole traders for the use of third party consultancies to develop short-term and long-term strategies in response to COVID-19. All businesses can apply for this, including those needing help with putting social distancing measures in place in advance of re-opening.
A Trading Online Voucher. This offers financial assistance of a 90% grant up to €2,500 along with training and advice to help businesses trade online, Those that have received a Trading Online Voucher can now apply for a second voucher where upgrades are required.
Training and Mentoring. Enterprise Ireland’s eiLearn is an online learning resource where Irish Small and Medium Enterprises can access customised content for their businesses.
