I welcome the allocation of €2,336,383 to Galway County Council for the provision of grant support for Housing Adaptation Grants.
“The scheme of supports include Housing Aid for Older People including roofing, windows & doors replacement, wiring upgrade and central heating”.
“Mobility Aid Grants support improved access in the home including grab rails, ramps, accessible shower and stairs lifts”.
The Housing Adaptation Grant for People with Disabilities support bathroom facilities, extension to include ground floor bedroom / bathroom, ramps and space for wheelchairs”.
