I attended the Inland Fisheries Ireland board meeting in Dublin this morning. It was a very good meeting in advance of preparing the IFI’s strategy for the next five years.
Many issues and challenges lie ahead for angling in Ireland.
However, we must plan for these challenges in order to protect and develop this valuable natural resource which can deliver economic growth in rural Ireland.
I was joined at the meeting by Chairperson Fintan Gorman, CEO Dr Ciarán Byrne and other board members.
